Install Technician – HVAC

Position Summary: Primary purpose of position is for the installation of heating, air conditioning systems and attached accessories. Position also requires participation in secondary duties as required by supervisor.

Normal Work Days: Monday through Friday. (Weekends, Overtime & Evenings as needed)

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualifications needed for this position:

  • 1 year minimum residential HVAC experience
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Must have basic HVAC hand tools
  • Active smart phone w/data

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Load & unload supplies & equipment in warehouse and truck.
  • Drive to and from job locations.
  • Remove & install complete heating, air conditioning, & geothermal systems.
  • Replace parts as directed on heating & air conditioning systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on heating, & air conditioning systems.
  • Climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.
  • Communicate constructively with staff and customers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Have knowledge of air balance techniques.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Service Technician – HVAC

Position Summary: To provide service on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality service experience.

Normal Work Days: Monday through Friday. (Weekends, Overtime & Evenings as needed)

Qualifications needed for this position:

  • 4 years skilled experience
  • NATE certified or acquire NATE certification within 6 months of employment
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Active smart phone w/data

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Load & unload supplies & equipment in warehouse and truck.
  • Drive to and from job locations.
  • Perform diagnostics & repairs to heating, air conditioning, & geothermal systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on heating, air conditioning, & geothermal systems
  • Must be personable & possess great communication & organizational skills
  • Help guide customers in making educated repair and replacement decisions
  • Must have a knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
  • Must be willing to perform installs if needed
  • Climb ladders and lift heavy equipment
  • Must have a knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
  • Perform after normal business hour service calls when on call
  • Other duties as assigned.
